With the theme “Technology leads the way”, the 5th competition night, which was also the final qualifying round, opened a unique journey of technology and creativity. Two fireworks teams from Korea and Italy took turns performing high-class lighting works, continuously pushing the audience’s emotions to a climax with artistic surprises in the night sky of the Han River.

Korea with “Dragon Dance” and G-Dragon rap
The 5th competition night, DIFF 2025 witnessed the impressive debut of the rookie Faseecom from Korea. With a performance inspired by the Dragon symbol and the modern city of Da Nang , the Korean fireworks team told a story with light, full of cinema called " Flying Dragon Dance".
From the very first seconds, the gentle background music “Fanfare” plays, blending with soft fireworks, leading the audience into an open, poetic space. Each layer of colorful fireworks effects is carefully staged, with smooth transitions in tone, making emotions seem to be heightened with each chapter of the story.

The most impressive highlight was when the Korean team set off fireworks to rap music, “lighting up” the sky with Home Sweet Home by the famous star G-Dragon. The fireworks in yellow and blue tones, exploding with a fast, intense rhythm, made the whole audience excited.
The modern, dynamic spirit of Da Nang city was “translated” into fireworks with the precise and artistic language of light. The performance ended magnificently with the song Undefeated as a strong declaration of Da Nang’s constant aspiration to rise in the new era. The dense, exploding fireworks in the sky painted the image of a soaring dragon, embracing the audience in a perfect ending.
With “Dragon Dance”, the Faseecom team not only brings a performance rich in technique but also imbued with cultural identity and a unique artistic language, like a brilliant Hallyu wave in the sky of the Han River:

Illuminate the Han River with a symphony of light
From powerful rock to melodious opera melodies, Martarello Group SRL – the famous fireworks team from Italy, led the audience on a mesmerizing visual journey in the performance “Chorus of Light – Opening the Future” .
Right from the first moments, the performance "exploded" with a series of red high-altitude fireworks, blooming violently to the rhythm of the rock music and the intense cinematic of Blood Sport , Aphelion ... creating the feeling that the heart of the city was beating strongly in excitement. The sharp lighting effects created an attractive visual effect that made the audience feel like they were watching an action movie.
As the cheerful jazz melody began, the performance changed tone unexpectedly with colorful fireworks shooting up and falling like a waterfall of light. The delicate combination with Vietnamese songs such as Chuyen cu bo qua and Bong bong bang bang brought a familiar feeling, making many audiences jump in delight as the fireworks “danced” with the music.

As the show progressed, the emotional tempo was pushed higher. Martarello Group used a series of effects, from fan-shaped cannons spreading out to embrace the sky, water cannons spraying from low to high, and then high-altitude multi-colored cannon effects. When “Time to say Goodbye”, Andrea Bocelli’s immortal operatic love song, sounded, hundreds of fireworks exploded simultaneously, closing the performance with a spectacular “light rain” covering the entire audience.
Once again, the Italian team affirmed their class, while sending a message about a Da Nang that is growing strongly, ready to enter a new era with light, technology and creativity:
