On October 15, Regiment 893 (An Giang Provincial Military Command) held a conference to hand over the position of Political Commissar of Regiment 893. According to the decision of the Commander of Military Region 9 on personnel work, Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Thanh Trieu, former Political Commissar of Regiment 893, was appointed to the position of Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trong Binh, Political Commissar of Defense Zone 3 - Kien Luong, was appointed to the position of Political Commissar of Regiment 893.
