Issue environmental protection plans and state budget estimates

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued an environmental protection plan and the State budget estimate for 2026; a 3-year State financial and budget plan for the period 2026 - 2028 from the environmental protection career fund of Ca Mau province.

Accordingly, the estimated environmental career budget in 2026 is 230,000 million VND, in 2027 is 235,064 million VND; in 2028 is 223,562 million VND.

The expected key tasks and key projects and tasks for 2026 and the 2026 - 2028 period include: Continuing to implement the State management responsibilities of localities as prescribed in the Law on Environmental Protection and detailed implementing documents; resolutions, directives, planning, plans, and strategies on environmental protection; waste management; environmental quality management; nature and biodiversity conservation; climate change response and other tasks.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to take the lead, take primary responsibility for presiding over and coordinating with provincial departments, branches and sectors to implement the environmental protection tasks of the province in accordance with current laws.
