V.League top scorer rankings round 21: Rafaelson sets record

After 3 consecutive matches without a win, Nam Dinh club won 3 points when defeating Thanh Hoa with a score of 5-2. Notably, Rafaelson scored all 5 goals for the team from the South. The Brazilian striker became the second player to do this in the history of V.League.

With 26 goals in 21 matches, Rafaelson set the record for the most goals scored in a season, surpassing the 24 goals set by Gaston Merlo (Vietnamese name is Do Merlo after naturalization). The Nam Dinh FC player still has 5 matches left to improve his record.

Rafaelson continues to lead the race for the "top scorer" title this season. The Brazilian player is far ahead of his rival Lucao ( Hai Phong - 12 goals).
