Charlotte FC is currently ranked 3rd in the MLS Eastern Conference with 50 points after 29 games. Inter Miami is ranked 6th with 46 points, but has played four fewer games due to their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup. Therefore, this match has generated immense interest, and the excitement of seeing Messi play in North Carolina has also contributed to the frenzy among American fans.
