  • Latest World Cup 2026 standings (Group F)

VTC News online newspaper continuously updates the latest World Cup 2026 rankings according to the FIFA website. As of now, the rankings of the teams in Group F are as follows.

    Society Team T students D
    1 Netherlands 0 0-0 0
    2 Japan 0 0-0 0
    3 Sweden 0 0-0 0
    4 Tunisia 0 0-0 0

According to the 2026 World Cup format , teams will play a round-robin tournament in the group stage to determine rankings. The top two teams in each group and the eight best third-placed teams will qualify for the Round of 16.

In the event of a tie in points among multiple teams in the group stage, the tie-breaking criteria used for ranking are head-to-head performance (calculated separately based on points, goal difference, and the number of goals scored in direct matches between the tied teams). If two teams are tied in all of the above criteria, the organizers will consider the goal difference and the total number of goals scored in all three matches.

When all other tie-breaking criteria are irrelevant, the teams are ranked according to their position on the latest FIFA World Rankings.
