The most impressive thing is that the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction has had many positive changes.
“As the Provincial Party Secretary once said, our province is still facing difficulties, the economy is still small, but how can we eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, so that people in remote areas can have enough food and warm clothes.
Dak Nong is one of the 15 most disadvantaged provinces in the country, but we have done a very good job in social security. This work has been highly appreciated by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society. To achieve these achievements, there must be consensus and the participation of the entire political system" - Comrade Ho Van Muoi emphasized.
Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi added that in 2022, according to the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) rankings, Dak Nong ranked 38th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 14 places compared to 2021.
"This achievement is the consensus of the entire Party, the entire army, the people... including the contribution of press agencies inside and outside the province" - Comrade Ho Van Muoi affirmed.
In recent times, Dak Nong province has regularly organized press conferences and meetings. In particular, at the quarterly press conferences providing information on the province's socio-economic situation, directors of departments, heads of sectors, and chairmen of district People's Committees have all attended and answered and resolved issues raised by the press.
Comrade Ho Van Muoi also pledged that the province will create the best conditions for reporters to excellently complete their assigned tasks.
“We share the difficulties of journalists. The province will create all conditions for you to excellently complete your tasks when working in Dak Nong. Recently, we have organized very serious press conferences, and all issues reported by the press have been resolved thoroughly" - Comrade Ho Van Muoi emphasized.
Comrade Ho Van Muoi hopes that press agencies and journalists operating in the province will continue to properly implement the principles, purposes and missions of revolutionary journalism in the current cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
