Ensuring safety for traffic opening ceremonies celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South

The Vietnam Road Administration (Ministry of Construction) has just sent an official dispatch requesting Road Management Zones II, III, IV; Project Management Boards 6, 7, Thang Long, My Thuan; Departments of Construction of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa, Tien Giang, Ben Tre and Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) to strengthen traffic safety during the opening ceremonies and inauguration of projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South.

Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway is preparing to open to traffic on April 19.

To ensure safe, convenient and smooth traffic during the preparation and holding of the ceremonies, the Vietnam Road Administration requires Road Management Zones II, III, IV; the Departments of Construction of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa, Tien Giang , Ben Tre to coordinate with Project Management Boards 6, 7, Thang Long, My Thuan; VEC and specialized forces at the grassroots level to regulate traffic, divide traffic, ensure order and traffic safety in the areas where traffic is organized and the inauguration is held; and the areas of intersections connecting to the expressways.

Road Management Areas II, III, IV; Departments of Construction of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh , Khanh Hoa, Tien Giang, Ben Tre and VEC direct regional road management units, regular maintenance units, and road BOT investors to strengthen traffic safety work on national highways and roads in the management area connecting with the expressways Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, Bung - Van Ninh, Van Phong - Nha Trang, Ben Luc - Long Thanh and Rach Mieu 2 bridge.

In particular, units will strengthen road patrols and inspections; adjust and supplement road signaling systems; divide traffic flows, warn, and ensure traffic; patch potholes, clean and drain roads, clear drainage systems; and clear roads to ensure visibility...

In addition, units will review and supplement the road signaling system on routes connecting to expressway segments and Rach Mieu 2 Bridge within the scope of the managed sections using regular maintenance funds; complete before the inauguration and opening date.
