On the evening of July 19, the final night of the Miss Vietnam Student 2024 contest took place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).

With the theme The Beauty of Intelligence , Miss Vietnamese Students is a playground to honor beauty, while promoting the intelligence, talent and bravery of female students in the new era.

Dang Quynh Anh is the new Miss Vietnamese Students.

After a 7-month journey, from nearly 1,000 applications, through preliminary rounds and 6 reality TV episodes, the judges selected the top 39 for the semi-finals and finals.

Beauty Dang Quynh Anh from Hanoi Medical University won the title of Miss Vietnamese Students 2024. She received a crown (bachelor's cap), 250 million VND in cash, a commemorative medal, a full scholarship in Korea and gifts.

The first runner-up title went to Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh from Hanoi National University of Education, who received a prize of 200 million VND and gifts. Nguyen Viet Hoai Nam from the University of Finance and Marketing was the second runner-up, receiving 150 million VND and gifts.

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded additional prizes (each prize worth 50 million VND): Most favorite female student (Le Ngoc Nhu Quynh, University of Foreign Languages - Hue University); Talented female student (Dao Le Uyen, Foreign Trade University, Campus 2), Female student with the most beautiful Ao Dai performance (Nguyen Viet Hoai Nam, University of Finance - Marketing);

Best English speaking female student (Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi, International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University), Most compassionate female student (Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi, International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University).

Pharmacist Tien awarded 933 scholarships worth a total of 933 million VND to students. At the final night, the manufacturer also presented 5 foreign language bookcases worth a total of 1 billion VND to the host training units.

Miss Vietnam Student 2024 with many innovations

In the final night, the top 39 excellent students went through the following competitions: Ao Dai performance, evening gown performance, young intellectual voice performance, professional voice performance, and behavioral performance.

In which, the voice of the profession is a new contest, first in the Miss Vietnamese Student contest . Each student has 2 minutes to convey the voice of the profession and the school they are attending.

The jury includes model Thanh Hang, Miss Intercontinental 2022 Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, designer Nguyen Minh Tuan, journalist Lam Hieu Dung, journalist Ngo Ba Luc...

From the top 39, the judges selected the top 20, top 11, top 5 and top 3.

The top 3 contestants entering the behavioral round include beauty Dang Quynh Anh - Hanoi Medical University, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh - Hanoi Pedagogical University and Nguyen Viet Hoai Nam - University of Finance - Marketing.

All three answered the same question: "What would you say to inspire young people who feel indifferent to the country's issues, to make them understand that patriotism is not only an ideal but also an everyday action?"

Through the rounds, the judges assessed that the contestants had changed a lot, surpassed their own limits, and become more mature. The contest will leave a memorable mark on youth.

In the evening gown competition, many students were not confident on the catwalk, tripped or almost fell while performing.

When their names were called into the top 11, beauties Nguyen Viet Hoai Nam and Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh stumbled while walking to the middle of the stage to meet the audience.

In the announcement of the top 3, MC Minh Xu announced that the student wearing the pink ao dai entered the top 3, but in fact the girl wearing the purple ao dai was correct, confusing both of them. MC Hoang Oanh said that the ao dai is the national costume, which is incorrect information.

The competition night lasted more than 4 hours, from the evening of July 19 to the early morning of July 20.

The Miss Vietnamese Students contest is organized by Thanh Giong Knowledge Portal, Vietnam Student Support and Development Center in collaboration with Tien Pharmacist Company Limited, for female students studying at universities, colleges and academies nationwide.

Miss Vietnamese Students, formerly known as the Charming Vietnamese Female Student contest , started in 2013.
