Young people everywhere check in on the dreamy road in Hon Yen

The Hon Yen embankment road project will be inaugurated in 2023. After 2 years, this place has become a new destination not to be missed when visiting Hon Yen.

Hon Yen is located in O Loan commune, Dak Lak province, about 20km from Tuy Hoa ward center (formerly Nhon Hoi village, An Hoa Hai commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province).

Hon Yen is known to tourists as a prominent tourist and exploration destination on the S-shaped tourist map.

Since the embankment road along Hon Yen was inaugurated, this place suddenly became a new, ideal destination, loved by many young people to check-in.

According to locals, since this place became popular, on average hundreds of tourists come here every day to take pictures. From 4:30 to 5:00 a.m. every day, the place is already crowded and gets even more crowded as the afternoon goes on.

Nguyen Thi Khanh Lien (18 years old, from Dong Nai ) shared: "I learned about this road when I saw reviews on TikTok. I found it beautiful so I definitely had to wake up at 4 am to experience watching the sunrise here. Just like what I saw online, it is many times more beautiful and brilliant outside."

Like Lien, Ta Quang Nhut (18 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) learned about this place through social networks. This is the second time Nhut has come to Hon Yen. "The first time I came was more than a year ago, I only took pictures with Hon Yen. This time I heard that there is a poetic road here so I came back."

Ho Cam Tu (17 years old, Dak Lak) brought two friends to take pictures. Tu said: "As a local, I have been attached to this place since the embankment was not built until it was completed. I really hope this place will always be clean, beautiful, and cool like this for people and tourists to experience and relax."

On social media, across platforms from Facebook to TikTok, it is not difficult to see photo albums and videos checking in at Hon Yen. These videos attract a lot of attention and shares.

About 2 years ago, photographer Thanh Nhan was one of the first to discover this place. He shared: "In 2023, while walking, I discovered that this road was airy and clean, especially with winding curves leading straight to Hon Yen. I took pictures and shared them widely on travel groups. Besides positive comments, there were also many negative opinions. But now, this place is like a destination not to be missed when coming to Hon Yen".

Sunrise at Hon Yen has different colors every day. Tourists enjoy taking photos and videos against the light to create different unique shapes.

In addition, in the summer, when the tide is low, a path connecting Hon Sun and Hon Yen will appear. Visitors can walk in the middle of the sea, using their hands to part the water to see the colorful coral reefs. Visitors can also see sea cucumbers, sea urchins and starfish.

Tourists can also come to Hon Yen to experience community tourism, immerse themselves in the local people's life with activities such as visiting Hon Yen complex by basket boat, exploring lobster farming area, Ganh Yen, Lo Chao..., watching Hon Yen from above on the hills; enjoying dishes with strong seafood flavor.

Many photographers and tourists have come here to capture the poetic and spectacular scenery, with the "dance" of fishermen casting nets on the blue sea. In 2018, Hon Yen was recognized as a national scenic spot by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
