When will students nationwide know their exam results and the cut-off scores for 10th grade?

Many provinces/cities have announced the tentative schedule for releasing exam results and admission scores for 10th grade in the 2026-2027 school year. Nghe An province is expected to announce it earliest.

In 2026, the Ministry of Education and Training plans to hold the high school graduation exam earlier than usual, over two days, June 11-12. Therefore, the schedule for the 10th grade entrance exam in provinces and cities nationwide will also be adjusted.

Starting on May 22nd, the entrance exam for 10th grade in public schools officially began in many localities. The two localities holding the exam earliest in the country were Da Nang and Ninh Binh.

According to predictions, many provinces and cities will announce exam results and admission scores at the beginning of June, such as Nghe An, Lai Chau, Quang Tri, Dong Thap , Ninh Binh, etc.

Some localities held their exams later, so the exam results and cut-off scores were also announced at the end of June or beginning of July, such as Gia Lai and Ca Mau...

Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a framework for the 2025-2026 school year for preschool, general education, and continuing education. In this framework, the Ministry requires schools to certify the completion of the primary school program and the graduation from lower secondary school before June 30th. Enrollment for the first-year classes is expected to be completed before July 31st.
