Bao Loc: Many meaningful activities for workers during Workers' Month

Football Tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers of Bao Loc City

On May 16, Bao Loc City Labor Federation organized the 2025 Men's Football Tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers. The tournament was attended by 6 teams from grassroots trade unions in the city such as: High School Trade Union, Bao Loc Urban Construction Joint Stock Company, Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company, Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Company, Dong Nai 5 TKV Hydropower Company and Southern Hydropower Joint Stock Company.

Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Company won the championship of the Football Tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers

After a day of fierce competition, the Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Company Union football team won the championship; the High School Union football team came in second place; the two teams of Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company and Southern Hydropower Joint Stock Company tied for third place.

Bao Loc City Labor Federation coordinated to organize free medical examination and medicine for workers at Scavi Bao Loc Company.

Previously, on May 8, the Labor Federation coordinated with Gia Viet Saigon Health Care Company Limited to organize free medical examinations and medicine distribution for 150 workers at Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company.

Here, 150 workers of Scavi Bao Loc Company received general medical examinations and screening for diseases that may arise in working conditions in the garment industry such as spine, neck, shoulders, eyes, ears and lungs...

In addition, female union members and workers were examined and provided in-depth consultation on reproductive health and obstetrics. After the screening, 150 workers were given free medicine to treat potential diseases with a total cost of nearly 40 million VND.

The 250 million VND pure drinking water treatment system project was built at Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited.

Also on this occasion, Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited (Loc Son Industrial Park) built a direct drinking water treatment system for workers, with a total value of 250 million VND. The direct drinking water treatment system includes steps of rough filtration, activated carbon filtration, RO (Reverse Osmosis) membrane, UV sterilization and a system for cooling/heating water after treatment.

The system is installed in the common areas of the factory with 12 automatic drinking water dispensers and 6 hot and cold water dispensers. Thereby, contributing to providing pure drinking water for all union members and employees in the Company.

Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chairman of Bao Loc City Labor Federation, said: In order to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers during Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month 2025, the City Labor Federation is continuing to coordinate with Trade Union organizations to implement activities and welfare programs aimed at the grassroots. Thereby, affirming its role as a trusted organization of workers, contributing to ensuring harmonious rights and interests for workers and businesses.
