The 10th "White Shirt to School" Festival brings joy to children in the highlands of Lam Dong

On August 23, the Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union, Tan Hoi Commune People's Committee, Hiep Thanh Commune People's Committee and other accompanying units to organize the 10th "White Shirt to School" Festival at N'Thon Ha Primary School (Tan Hoi Commune, Lam Dong).

The delegation organized free medical examination and medicine distribution for poor people in Tan Hoi commune.

The program organized medical examinations, distributed free medicine and gave gifts to 400 poor people in Tan Hoi commune; presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Thai Thi Tuong and Hero of the People's Armed Forces Mai Thanh Minh.

In particular, 500 students received white shirts, school bags, notebooks, school supplies, and milk; 20 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) were also awarded to poor but studious students. In addition, a laptop was donated to N'Thon Ha Primary School.

In addition, exchange activities, folk games, food court, free haircuts, balloon art making and a music night with the theme "Night of Love" were also organized, creating a joyful and cohesive atmosphere.

The program not only creates a healthy playground, an opportunity for youth to exchange and learn, but also an opportunity to share difficulties with poor children in remote areas.
