The 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Journalism Award for Education , 2024, honors and recognizes the contributions of responsible and dedicated journalists to education in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general.

This morning, November 19th, in the atmosphere of celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Education Magazine held the awards ceremony for the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Journalism Award on Education - 2024.

According to journalist Nguyen Thanh Tu, all of these contribute to building a more developed education sector in Ho Chi Minh City on its path to integration.

In total, 25 works/series of articles were awarded prizes, including 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 15 consolation prizes. The first prize was awarded to the series of articles "The Difficulty of Finding a Place to Teach Autistic Children" by the team of authors Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, Tran Trong Nhan, Doan Thi Nhan, and Duong Thi Lieu ( Tuoi Tre Newspaper).

Second prize was awarded to the following works: "The Road to School" by the group of authors Luong Vu Phong, Truong Giang, Ly Ly, Tran Tu, Minh Tan, Tho Tai (Ho Chi Minh City Television); "The Negative Aspects of University Autonomy " by author Vo Thanh Hung ( Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper) ; and the series "Happy Schools from an International Perspective to Domestic Practice" by the group of authors Phan Tuyet Nhung, Huynh Thi Thuy Linh (Ho Chi Minh City People's Voice Radio).
