On the morning of November 20, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine held a ceremony to honor Vietnamese Teachers' Day. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dang Thoai, Vice Principal in charge of school management and operations, emphasized the significance of November 20 for a special school like Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine. Because this day not only honors the noble mission of the teaching profession but also the ethics and professional responsibility - the special profession of training medical human resources for the country.
Associate Professor Thoai expressed his gratitude to all teachers who have been devoting themselves to teaching.
He affirmed that the school always identifies the team of lecturers, staff and workers as important resources for long-term development. Therefore, the school prioritizes training and skill development policies; improves the working environment; provides timely support so that each teacher has the conditions to demonstrate their abilities, creativity and always maintain enthusiasm for the profession.
According to Vice Principal of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, health sciences is a specialized and specialized training field. Therefore, the school always prioritizes policies for training, improving the working environment, and contributing to and training generations of students.
Notably, the representative of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, newly-appointed Laotian doctor Phoumy Bin, gave a speech expressing his gratitude to his teachers on this special occasion. Not only did the student representative of the school present a painting drawn by 1,000 students, Phoumy Bin also wrote a poem in Vietnamese to send to his teachers.
On this occasion, 7 teachers of the school were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister; 5 teachers were awarded the "For People's Health" medal in 2025 by the Ministry of Health ; 2 teachers received the "For the cause of education" medal in 2025 by the Ministry of Education and Training. At the same time, the school also honored 8 individuals recognized as Professors/Associate Professors in 2025, 4 individuals recognized as completing their doctoral degrees.
