In 2025, the SCG Sharing The Dream scholarship program will award a total of 100 scholarships for students (VND 15 million/scholarship) and 50 scholarships for pupils (VND 2 million/scholarship) nationwide, with a total support value of VND 1.6 billion. In the South, the organizing unit will award 65 scholarships to students.
This year, the program has expanded its beneficiaries to include students with disabilities and ethnic minority students, demonstrating a strong commitment to “Reducing Inequality” and ensuring “no one is left behind” in SCG’s sustainable development strategy.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Niwat Athiwattananont, Vice President of SCG Group in Vietnam, said: “Reducing inequality through education and creating opportunities for disadvantaged groups is SCG's core, long-term mission built on the goal of leaving no one behind.

Since its launch in 2007, the program has awarded more than 6,000 scholarships and provided a comprehensive training system on sustainable development. We believe that nurturing a sustainable mindset in the young generation will directly contribute to a prosperous green future, accompanying Vietnam's journey towards the Net Zero 2050 goal."
Sharing at the program, Mr. Le Xuan Dung, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, said: The program aims to nurture dreams and form sustainable development thinking for students, thereby contributing to building a young workforce ready to integrate into the modern labor market.
The SCG Sharing The Dream scholarship does not only stop at financial support, but also equips students with knowledge and thinking about sustainable development in the direction of ESG (environment, society, transparent governance).
To date, the program has organized more than 120 training sessions and 60 connection sessions with experts and businesses for scholarship students.
