Many heritage conservation models associated with tourism have proven effective. The Central Highlands gong cultural space has become a highlight in cultural experience tours; Mo Muong has been restored and incorporated into community activities; Co Tu brocade weaving, Mong flute art, festivals of the Khmer, Thai, Bru - Van Kieu, etc. have all been revived, creating new livelihoods for the community. The "connected heritage" approach has contributed to linking conservation with livelihoods, so that people can truly master and be proud of their own identity.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy affirmed: “Cultural heritage of ethnic minorities is an endless resource; it is both a spiritual foundation and an endogenous resource for sustainable development. Project 6 has shown clear effectiveness in linking conservation with community tourism development, creating livelihoods and pride for the people. In the period 2026-2030, the cultural sector will continue to replicate successful models, promote the application of digital technology, promote the role of the community as a subject, and at the same time perfect mechanisms, policies, and allocate appropriate resources so that heritage truly becomes a driving force for the development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.”
