According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, as of 7:00 p.m. tonight (November 6), the center of storm Yinxing is located in the sea northeast of Luzon Island (Philippines). The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 14 (150-166 km/h), gusting to level 17. Moving slowly in the West-Northwest direction, speed 5-10 km/h.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, Typhoon Yinxing will maintain its direction of movement at a speed of 10km/h. By 7pm tomorrow night (November 7), the centre of the storm will be in the sea north of Lu Dong Island. The storm's intensity will remain at its strongest level of level 14, gusting to level 17.

In the next 24 hours, the storm changed direction, moving west-southwest at a speed of 15-20km/h and decreasing by 1 level. Around the morning of November 8, storm Yinxing entered the East Sea and is likely to be the 7th storm of 2024.

At 7:00 p.m. the same day, the storm center was in the East of the North East Sea, 640km East Northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago, with a level 13 intensity, gusting to level 16.

In the next 24 hours, the storm moved west-northwest again, at a speed of about 15km/h. At 7pm on November 9, the storm's center was in the North East Sea, 320km northeast of the Hoang Sa archipelago. The storm's intensity decreased to level 12, gusting to level 14.

From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm is likely to change direction to move West Southwest, traveling 10-15km per hour, and continue to weaken.

Meteorological experts say that when entering the eastern sea of the North East Sea, the storm will be at level 12-13. When entering the East Sea, the storm is likely to be affected by cold air, the sea surface temperature will decrease and the environment will also change. Therefore, the intensity of the storm will also change, especially when entering the northeastern area of the Hoang Sa archipelago.

Due to the influence of storm Yinxing, in the eastern sea area of the North East Sea, the wind is strong at level 6-7.

From the evening and night of November 7, the storm will increase to level 8-10, the area near the storm center will be level 11-13, gusting to level 16, waves 4-6m high, the area near the center will be 6-8m, the sea will be very rough.

Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are susceptible to the effects of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
