- On the night of October 5, the Working Group chaired by the Professional Department, Lang Son Provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with Chi Lang Border Guard Station, the Northern Special Task Force, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department and the Economic Police Department of the Provincial Police discovered and arrested a subject illegally transporting explosive fireworks from China to Vietnam.
Specifically, at 22:00 on October 5, 2025, at Coc Lung hill area, Na Cang village, Khuat Xa commune, the working group chaired by the Professional Department, Border Guard Command of Lang Son province, in coordination with functional forces on duty, discovered a man driving a three-wheeled vehicle (no license plate, with an electric motor, steering wheel and a cargo container at the back) carrying goods and a man next to him who showed suspicious signs. The working group approached to check.

Upon seeing the authorities, the man driving the tricycle fled towards the border. The task force chased him but failed to catch him. At the time of the inspection, the man sitting in the passenger seat confessed his full name was Nong Van Ly, born in 1983, residing in Ban Rooc village, Mau Son commune.
The working group inspected the goods carried on the above-mentioned three-wheeled vehicle. The results determined that there were a total of 20 green pineapple sacks. Inside each sack was a carton measuring 46.3 cm x 31 cm x 30 cm, with many foreign words printed on the outside. Inside each carton were 12 cubes, each measuring 14.7 cm x 15.3 cm x 15.3 cm, each cube had 36 round cylinders connected together, wrapped in colored paper on the outside, printed with foreign words, suspected to be firecrackers. Total weight 340 kg.

At the time of inspection, Mr. Nong Van Ly stated that all of the above evidence was firecrackers, without documents and was hired by Mr. Hoang Van Thuan (about 33 years old), residing in Na Cang village, Khuat Xa commune , to carry and transport.
The case is being investigated and handled by the Provincial Border Guard Command in coordination with relevant authorities according to the provisions of law.
