(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Bao was injured in a fight and was taken to the commune's health station for first aid. Due to the severity of his injuries, the authorities suggested that Bao be transferred to a higher-level hospital for treatment, but he cursed and assaulted the police officers.
On January 4th, the police of Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province, arrested Dang Thieu Bao (born in 1978, residing in Duy Chau commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province) for investigation into the crime of resisting public officials.
Earlier, at 9:40 PM on December 30, 2024, Dang Thieu Bao and several other individuals were involved in a scuffle in La Deee commune, Nam Giang district, resulting in Bao being injured. Bao was then taken to the La Deee commune health station for first aid.
After receiving the report, the La Dêê commune police sent a task force to the health station to verify the incident. There, due to the severity of his injuries, the health officials and commune police advised Bảo to go to a higher-level hospital for treatment before cooperating with the authorities.
However, Bao ignored the advice, continuously cursing, insulting, and offending the police force, causing a disruption of public order and security.
Despite being repeatedly asked to maintain order, Bao refused to comply and unexpectedly punched a local police officer in the face.
The commune police have recorded the incident in a report and forwarded the entire file to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Nam Giang District Police for handling.
