Surprising daily life of Burkina Faso people

A photographer spent two weeks capturing images of daily life in Burkina Faso, an African country.

The photographer met this man at the central market of Fada N'Gourma, where he has a small corner selling some types of handbags.

"My visit to the Central Market in Burkina Faso was a memorable one. I had the opportunity to witness the daily life of the hospitable people of the region, all of whom were impressively dressed in colorful and distinctively patterned costumes," the photographer shared.

These limestone blocks, called Dômes De Fabedougou, have a unique dome shape, formed over millennia by water and erosion.

Burkina Faso is a multi-ethnic country. The Mossi are the largest ethnic group and make up about 50.2% of the population.
