Nubia Air launched, challenging iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge

The smartphone brand nubia (belonging to ZTE Corporation) has just officially launched in Vietnam the nubia Air phone model, a product that attracts attention with its super thin design of only 5.9mm but owns a 5,000mAh battery and IP69 durability standard.

With a price of only 5.49 million VND, nubia Air is positioned as a direct challenge to high-end ultra-thin models such as iPhone Air, Galaxy S25 Edge, providing an attractive choice in the popular smartphone segment in Vietnam.

Ultra-thin design but not fragile

The most impressive and distinctive highlight of the nubia Air lies in its physical design. With a thickness of only 5.9mm and a weight of 172g, this device promises to bring a delicate and high-class grip feeling.

However, unlike many other ultra-thin phones that often sacrifice durability, the nubia Air is equipped with high-end protection standards. The device is finished with an aluminum alloy frame and comes in two modern color options: Titanium Black and Titanium Desert.

In terms of configuration, nubia Air is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The power of the device comes from the Unisoc T8300 8-core processor manufactured on the 6nm process, accompanied by dynamic RAM that can be expanded up to 20GB.

AI elements are also deeply integrated into the system to optimize user experience. AI Scheduling technology is capable of allocating CPU resources reasonably when playing games to maintain stable performance.

Meanwhile, the APP Freeze feature will automatically freeze rarely used applications to save battery and free up resources. The device is also deeply integrated with other AI features including the Google Gemini virtual assistant and will soon be updated with the Circle to Search feature.

In particular, the AI Translate feature allows real-time translation of two-way calls, a useful tool for cross-language communication. In terms of photography capabilities, the device is equipped with a 50MP AI triple camera cluster on the back, supporting advanced photo and video shooting modes such as Dynamic Image, AI Sport Snapshot and video stabilization.

The front camera has a resolution of 20MP, fine-tuned to bring natural and sharp selfies. The nubia Air's sound system is also invested with HiFi 4 DSP and high-performance codec.

The device also comes with two AI noise-canceling microphones, ensuring clear call quality. It also supports nubia LinkFree, a feature that allows you to make calls and send messages over Bluetooth without the need for a cellular network within a certain range.

The biggest surprise of the nubia Air is its price. Despite having a design and many features that resemble a high-end smartphone, this product is listed at only 5,490,000 VND in the Vietnamese market.
