Accordingly, TikTok will continue to expand the scope of training courses to support the enhancement of digital capabilities for OCOP (One Commune One Product) businesses in provinces and cities nationwide; and launch numerous communication campaigns to promote agricultural specialties and handicraft products on the platform to foster interaction and trade connections between businesses and consumers.
In Vietnam, HDBank is a leading commercial bank in green credit and sustainable agricultural and rural development, providing significant support over the years. In partnership with OCOP, HDBank will participate in organizing a series of activities to enhance digital skills and implement appropriate and practical financial support solutions for the program's participants.
In addition, to help businesses and individuals easily access products, services, and preferential loan packages, and to develop a happy digital banking system, HDBank has implemented a financial services website project in all 63 provinces and cities, establishing a channel to support customers in easily connecting and transacting anytime, anywhere.
According to the cooperation agreement, HDBank will co-organize the "Journey to Draw a Map of Vietnamese Agricultural Products" short video contest on TikTok, focusing on OCOP products, local agricultural specialties, and traditional craft products; and will also co-organize a series of livestreamed OCOP Market events to promote local agricultural specialties with various activities to boost consumption and support businesses on digital platforms. The OCOP Market will be held as a livestream on TikTok, lasting 4-6 hours.
To date, HDBank has partnered with the OCOP Fair in Ha Tinh, Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City (Can Gio), and Lam Dong, achieving many positive results and attracting over 140 million views on videos tagged with the hashtag #HDBankdonghanhnongsanviet. Sales from these subsidized fairs have reached billions of VND. In the near future, HDBank plans to bring the OCOP Fair to many other locations, including Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Ca Mau, and Thai Nguyen.
In this cooperation program, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien - Director of Agritrade - shared: “Over the past time, the Center and TikTok Vietnam have collaborated to organize many programs to promote and boost the consumption of OCOP products through the OCOP Market on the TikTok platform. These programs have brought about widespread dissemination and created a very good effect for localities and entities participating in the OCOP Program.
With this cooperation agreement signed with TikTok Vietnam and HDBank, the center hopes to enhance the effectiveness of promoting OCOP products and handicraft products through livestream programs; support businesses in improving digital skills in product consumption; and access preferential capital sources to develop production and expand scale."
Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, representative of TikTok Vietnam, stated: “With the rapid development of e-commerce and the digital economy in the country, Vietnamese rural products are increasingly strong in the international market, affirming the potential and quality of domestic products. Continuing the long-term OCOP program in collaboration with Agritrade, the TikTok team is proud to participate in activities promoting products from traditional craft villages and Vietnamese handicrafts, contributing to promoting trade in the region and spreading national cultural values to friends around the world.”
Mr. Nguyen Van Hao, Deputy General Director of HDBank, shared: “By partnering with the OCOP Program, HDBank continues to implement the Government's policy on developing the rural economy. Through this, we directly participate with our customers, supporting connections with consumers in the value chain within a strategic area of operation: agriculture and rural development, aligning with HDBank's strengths in digital transformation in the market now and in the future.”
According to experts, promoting digital transformation is a key solution to boost rural economic development in a more in-depth, efficient, and sustainable manner. OCOP products are developed based on the strengths of each locality, reflecting the unique characteristics of local culture.
Diversifying trade promotion methods, including bringing these products onto digital platforms, is considered an essential step, contributing to opening new markets, increasing opportunities to reach customers, enhancing competitiveness, and bringing outstanding economic benefits to localities.
