In addition to the theoretical discussion, the workshop also organized a demonstration surgery for intertrochanteric fractures using PFNA intramedullary nail method right at Khanh Hoa General Hospital, performed by leading experts.

The workshop is not only an opportunity to share knowledge and professional experience but also demonstrates the connection and close cooperation between medical facilities in the region and leading specialized centers nationwide. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of treatment and care for orthopedic trauma patients locally and in the Central Highlands region.

On the same day, Khanh Hoa General Hospital also coordinated with a team of orthopedic trauma experts from Ho Chi Minh City to conduct a screening examination for 80 cases with musculoskeletal problems, especially complicated cases or long-term injuries that have not been properly treated. After the screening examination, 20 patients were assigned to undergo surgery with direct support from leading experts.
