K Hospital speaks out against false accusations and defamation.

This morning, August 20th, K Hospital issued a statement regarding the recent appearance of numerous videos on several social media platforms under the TikTok account name DTT (ID: @xx.thanh.xx) and other accounts. These videos contain distorted and slanderous content, spread with the aim of tarnishing the image of K Hospital and the personal reputation of doctors, nurses, and medical staff .

According to K Hospital, from July 15th to August 16th, the aforementioned account posted numerous videos specifically naming K Hospital and several doctors and management leaders of the hospital; the content in the videos consisted entirely of fabricated, slanderous, and defamatory statements, deliberately damaging the image and reputation of the hospital.

K Hospital affirms that, from the beginning, the hospital has always organized, managed, and operated its medical examination and treatment activities under the strict supervision of the Ministry of Health , ensuring full and serious compliance with legal regulations, operational regulations, and regulations of relevant agencies. Therefore, the actions and statements driven by personal motives and purposes, which deliberately slander, fabricate, and distort the truth to incite public outrage against K Hospital and to promote boycotting and damage the hospital's reputation, are unacceptable.

To protect the hospital's image and reputation, K Hospital has submitted a report and denouncement of the violations to the relevant central and local authorities and agencies where the incident occurred.

* In the announcement, K Hospital also clarified the incident that occurred on the morning of August 17th. Specifically, Ms. D.T.T. entered K Hospital's Tam Hiep facility (Branch 2) to distribute vouchers, calling on patients and their families to come and collect free food, and filming patients undergoing treatment. This violated regulations on patient privacy and the hospital's regulations on organizing charitable gift distributions, affected patients, disrupted order within the hospital grounds, and was not approved by K Hospital.

Meanwhile, K Hospital has arranged a kitchen to provide free lunch and dinner for patients, over 500 meals per day at the Tam Hiep facility; and has provided more than 200 beds, air conditioning, hot and cold showers, and laundry services for registered patients at the Tan Trieu facility of K Hospital.

Following this incident, the security team spotted Ms. T. and asked her to leave. However, Ms. T. acted disruptively, sitting on a chair in the hallway, loudly cursing, insulting, and challenging the security staff, causing disorder within the hospital grounds.

Immediately afterwards, K Hospital notified the Tam Hiep Commune Police and the Thanh Tri District Police to coordinate with the Thanh Tri District People's Procuracy to prevent Ms. T. and her husband from causing disorder at K Hospital's Tam Hiep facility; a report of the incident was drawn up, and a diagram of the scene was recorded with the participation and witness of all relevant parties to proceed with the steps in accordance with legal procedures.

According to the hospital, after the incident occurred, on August 17th and 18th, Ms. T. repeatedly created video clips containing false information about being assaulted, accompanied by slanderous and vulgar language, and mentioning the leadership and medical staff of K Hospital.

According to K Hospital, the unit is always ready to listen to and receive feedback from patients and their families regarding existing issues in a positive manner, thereby enabling the implementation of activities that are more appropriate to the actual conditions.

Currently, K Hospital has submitted a report on the incident to the Ministry of Health leadership and is cooperating with relevant authorities to investigate and handle the matter in order to reach a conclusion as soon as possible.
