Mystery of Aztec stone chest hiding 15 strange human statues and sacrifices
A strange stone chest buried beneath the Aztec capital reveals deadly secrets: misshapen human statues, shells, beads and traces of ancient rituals.

While excavating at the Temple of the Mayor of Tenochtitlan in Mexico, experts from the Mexican Archaeological Agency unexpectedly found a strange ancient artifact. The largest of these statues is 30 centimeters tall, while the smallest is 3 centimeters tall. Traces of face paint depicting the Mexica rain god Tlaloc were found on one of the smaller statues.
