Predicting the content of episode 13 of *The Buried Heart*.
Following the shocking events of episode 12, episode 13 of *The Buried Heart* promises to deliver a series of dramatic plot twists, escalating the conflicts between the characters to a climax.
Dong-ju survives and faces the truth.
At the end of the previous episode, Il-do shot Dong-ju, but he miraculously survived thanks to Won-bae's timely medical intervention. This scene could open episode 13 of *Buried Heart*, showing Dong-ju struggling with his wounds while grappling with the realization that his attacker was his own father.

The moment Eun-nam runs to embrace him, relieved that he's alive, will be an emotional highlight, illuminating the bond between them.
Il-do regrets his actions and turns his back on Yeom.

After Jang-seon reveals the truth about Dong-ju, Il-do falls into crisis. He may turn to Deok-hui or Secretary Gong for confirmation, and realize he has been manipulated by Yeom to harm his own son. His decision to cut ties with Yeom and vow revenge could be a major turning point, marking a shift in Il-do's journey – from a manipulated individual to one seeking redemption.
A tense encounter between father and son.

One of the most anticipated scenes is when Dong-ju confronts Il-do. When he calls Il-do "father," the cold reply, "Calling me father won't change anything," will only deepen the rift between them.
Just then, Tae-yeon appeared, revealing herself to be Dong-ju's younger brother and begging him to leave Daesan, leaving him confused as he realized Eun-nam wasn't his sister.
Yeom continues to weave his schemes.

Meanwhile, Yeom relentlessly plots to eliminate Dong-ju. He meets with Chairman Cha, exploiting his unstable memory to exert pressure and protect the position of Seonwoo, his newly recognized son. However, a fleeting memory of Dong-ju may cause Chairman Cha to hesitate, opening up an opportunity for Dong-ju to persuade him later.
The fate of Yang-chun and Dandelion files

Yang-chun escapes and plans to confront Yeom, but this could lead to his death. Won-bae will reassure Dong-ju that the Dandelion documents are safe, although Yang-chun's disappearance signals greater trouble to come.
Dong-ju chose to stay in Daesan.
Despite suffering both physically and mentally, episode 13 could conclude with Dong-ju steadfastly remaining in Daesan. His determination to protect those he loves and face his fate will be the driving force that keeps him going, despite the dangers posed by Yeom and Il-do.
