Ho Chi Minh City: A 38-year-old driver was fined VND700,000 for driving a hearse without closing the doors, allowing people inside to dress up and cheer on Nguyen Hue walking street, District 1.
On the afternoon of November 1, the Traffic Police Team - District 1 Police made a record with a male driver residing in District 7 for not closing the door while the vehicle was running according to Decree 100/2019.

Working with the police, this person said that on the evening of October 31 (Halloween), he was hired to drive a hearse carrying a group of 8 people dressed as ghosts and demons from District 7 to District 1 for fun. When arriving at Nguyen Hue walking street, Ben Nghe ward, he opened the back door of the car so that the passengers in the car could cheer and tease passersby.
The car then stopped on the road so the group could use a stretcher to pretend to push the injured person, attracting the attention of the crowd. The incident was recorded by passersby and posted on social media. Ben Nghe Ward Police are investigating the violation of public order by the group of people who rented the car.
