Currently, the total planned area for Ngoc Linh ginseng development in Nam Tra My district is more than 15,568 hectares. Of which, there are 18 enterprises and 40 household groups with 532 households participating in Ngoc Linh ginseng cultivation, with a total area of more than 806 hectares.
Currently, there are 7 organizations and 30 household groups that have completed procedures to rent forest environments with a total area of over 925 hectares for ginseng cultivation. In addition, Nam Tra My has 435 households and household groups representing over 1,390 households growing ginseng in the planning area.
The future Ngoc Linh ginseng investment survey area in Nam Tra My is expected to be divided into 4 regions, with a total area of 1,950 hectares. The Mang Lung - Dak Lay route has been approved for investment, with a length of 9,890m passing through the planned natural forest and special-use forest, with an area of over 25 hectares.
Through a field survey and working with Nam Tra My district, the Center for Development of Ngoc Linh ginseng and Quang Nam medicinal herbs, Mr. Tran Ba Duong said: After signing the investment agreement commitment at the conference to implement Decision No. 463/QD-TTg organized by the Ministry of Health and Quang Nam province (May 10, 2025), Truong Hai Group is determined to invest in Ngoc Linh ginseng area; focusing on factors such as varieties, techniques, deep processing and bringing Ngoc Linh ginseng to the world.
Through today's field survey, Truong Hai Group Corporation wishes to invest in a new location, with an area of 300 hectares or more, to invest in building a model garden. The company will also cooperate with the Ca Dong and Xe Dang people and organize production for people to become workers in a professional ginseng growing environment.
Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the determination of Truong Hai Group Corporation to invest in developing Ngoc Linh ginseng; at the same time, he believed that with the company's drastic participation, it would contribute to developing Ngoc Linh ginseng worthy of the status of Vietnam's national treasure.
In the immediate future, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and Nam Tra My District People's Committee to closely coordinate with Truong Hai Group Corporation in establishing procedures and legal documents, giving priority to all procedures as quickly as possible so that the company's investment in Ngoc Linh ginseng area soon becomes a reality.
Thus, after the conference announcing Decision No. 463/QD-TTg, Truong Hai Group Corporation is the first unit to realize its commitments to the People's Committee of Quang Nam province in developing Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs.
On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet presented gifts and encouraged officers and employees of the Quang Nam Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs Development Center.
