All the houses in the ancient village of Bibury (England) are made of ancient sandstone, surrounded by many green trees, and flowers often bloom brightly, attracting the attention of passersby.

Located right on the Coln River, 10km northeast of the city of Cirencester in England, the ancient village of Bibury is considered the most beautiful in the country because of its historical elements and long-standing cultural values.

The honey-colored stone-paved houses are typical of 17th-century English country architecture.

The most photographed site is Arlington Row, a complex of 14th-century stone towers, repurposed as homes for weavers in the 1600s.

Bibury village is especially impressive with its laterite bridges winding along the green grass creating a beautiful scene like a painting. The population living in this area is only about 500 people.

When coming to Bibury village, visitors also have the opportunity to learn about unique religious buildings. Among them are St Mary's Abbey, Saxon Church and large fish farm.

What many people love here are the gardens filled with roses and other flowers. In 1921, the Emperor of Japan visited and stayed here for a night. Since then, many tourists from the land of the rising sun often choose Bibury as their destination.

The setting here also appeared in two movies "Stardust" and "Bridget Jones's Diary" which caused a big stir in the world .

The image of this village has appeared on the new British passport and has been welcomed by many local people.

This blend of antiquity and serenity makes many visitors unable to leave.

This is also a gathering and meeting point for organizations and individuals whenever they need to organize events promoting tourism and culture.

To prevent the village from being too dark, in some places, Bibury residents let vines grow tightly around the entire outer wall, creating a natural green "paint".
