(NLĐO) - Following the rebellion of Ronaldo and Benzema in the Saudi Pro League, former Chelsea star Kante has also gone on strike.

Following Ronaldo and Benzema, another European star is causing trouble in the Saudi Pro League (SPL). Ben Jacobs, a reporter for GivemeSport, revealed that N'Golo Kante is refusing to train with Al-Ittihad today due to issues surrounding his potential move to Fenerbahce.

Previously, Fenerbahce's attempt to sign the former Chelsea star was blocked by FIFA. The Turkish club stated that Kante's transfer plans from Al-Ittihad were canceled due to administrative errors beyond the control of the Saudi Arabian club.

This agreement is based on a player exchange deal, whereby Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri will move in the opposite direction. The deal reportedly includes a transfer fee of around £3 million.

Specifically, Fenerbahce claims that Al-Ittihad entered incorrect information into the mandatory transfer registration system and failed to correct it before the deadline of early morning on February 3rd (Vietnam time). Despite an appeal by the Turkish representatives, FIFA rejected the decision.

During the recent transfer window, Al-Ittihad also lost Karim Benzema to Al-Hilal and are currently unable to sign any new players. The loss of this key striker is one of the scandals currently unfolding in the SPL surrounding grievances with the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF). Benzema is being treated disrespectfully, with salary cuts and only receiving image rights fees.

Even Ronaldo, the pioneer who made his way into Saudi Arabian football, had problems with the PIF itself, due to the fund's unreasonable allocation of transfer funds to the top four clubs - including Al-Nassr.
