Commending outstanding workers who are Party members.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized an event to commend workers who are Party members and have achieved many outstanding accomplishments in labor and production, contributing to Party building work.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and the Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) has issued a plan to organize a national conference to commend outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

This conference will recognize and honor outstanding workers in various types of enterprises who are Party members, have achieved many accomplishments in labor and production, and have contributed to Party building, building strong grassroots trade union organizations, especially in the work of developing Party members among workers in enterprises.

The conference provided an opportunity for worker party members to interact and share experiences on the process of self-cultivation, training, and striving to become exemplary worker party members.

Therefore, the aim is to encourage workers to strive to become Party members; to raise awareness and pride among trade union members when they have the honor of standing in the ranks of the Party; and at the same time affirm the responsibility of the Vietnam Trade Union organization in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system.

Through this conference, we aim to further promote the attention of Party committees and organizations at all levels in leading and directing the workers' movement and trade union activities, especially the work of developing Party members from among workers.

Furthermore, this is also an opportunity to strengthen the close relationship between the Party and the working class, creating motivation for trade union members to continue striving, confidently moving forward under the Party's banner, and contributing to building a more prosperous, civilized, and modern homeland and country.

Regarding eligibility criteria, direct production workers; and management staff from the level of production team leader (or equivalent) downwards in enterprises of all economic sectors with trade unions, who have worked for at least 10 years and have been Party members for at least 3 years (as of November 30th), are eligible.

Workers must also meet specific standards regarding political stance, ideology, ethics, lifestyle, conduct, work habits, organizational discipline, and the results of fulfilling their assigned responsibilities and duties.
