In his opening speech, Colonel Hoang Van Loi, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Armored Corps, emphasized that inspection and supervision work is a basic leadership method of the Party, playing an important role in improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization.

In the 2020-2025 term, Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels in the Party Committee of the Corps have completed 100% of the inspection plan, strictly implemented regulations and procedures, promoted initiative, objectively examined and verified, and concluded accurately. Inspection work contributes significantly to warning, prevention, and maintaining discipline and order throughout the Party Committee.

According to the report at the conference, during the past term, the Corps inspected 21 party members who showed signs of violations. The results showed that all had violations but not to the extent of requiring disciplinary action. The Inspection Commissions at all levels inspected 56 party organizations on the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks, disciplinary enforcement, and management of party finances. Regular and specialized supervision were carried out seriously and effectively; during the term, specialized supervision was conducted on 155 party organizations and 506 party members.

Regarding the enforcement of discipline, Party committees and Inspection Commissions have strictly handled violations, ensuring the correct direction, principles and authority. All cases have been reported to gain experience and strengthen preventive measures. There have been no complaints about party discipline.

Regarding the work of building the sector, the Corps has consolidated and supplemented the personnel of the Inspection Committee at all levels, improved the quality of the inspection team, and organized dozens of training courses with thousands of cadres participating. Propaganda, scientific research, emulation and reward work have been effectively implemented; many news and articles promoting the results of the Inspection and Supervision work have been published. 58 cadres and members of the Inspection Committee at all levels have been proposed to be awarded the "For the Party's Inspection Cause" Medal.

The report also pointed out some shortcomings such as: The awareness of some cadres and party members is still limited; the inspection content does not closely follow the areas where violations are likely to arise; the coordination is not smooth; some Inspection Committees have not proactively provided timely advice.

From the past term, the Party Committee of the Corps drew 7 groups of lessons, emphasizing the role of Party committees and leaders; promoting proactiveness, democracy and transparency in inspection and supervision work; strengthening coordination and perfecting the team of cadres doing inspection and supervision work.

In his speech, Major General Nguyen Thanh Bach highly appreciated the results of the inspection and supervision work of the Party Committee of the Corps during the past term, especially the drastic, effective and synchronous direction from the top to the grassroots. Thematic supervision work was focused on, contributing to enhancing the responsibility of leaders and maintaining Party discipline.

Regarding the direction for the next term, Major General Nguyen Thanh Bach requested the Armored Corps to focus on doing a good job of inspection and supervision to serve Party Congresses at all levels; proactively issue directive documents after the congress; strictly implement new regulations of the Central Committee; shift the focus of inspection to prevention and early warning; promote digital transformation; build a team of inspectors with courage, integrity, and IT qualifications to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
