As one of the main open-pit coal mining units of Dong Bac Corporation, the Mineral Exploitation Company is constantly innovating and modernizing its production process, making an important contribution to the successful implementation of economic and technical targets in 2025. Right from the first months of 2025, hundreds of workers and modern vehicles and equipment are focusing on the campaign to expand the exploitation of Moong - 200, seam 13-1 at Dong Da Mai Mine. This is a project with a record depth of exploitation, concentrated scale, promising to contribute up to 60% of the total mine output, estimated at 1.4-1.5 million tons/year. The company has mobilized up to 6 excavator lines and more than 80 60-ton trucks operating continuously day and night, ensuring the set progress.

In particular, the bold investment and application of advanced science and technology, putting into use 5 large capacity drills (403kW), 19 6.7m³ bucket excavators and 143 60-ton trucks have created a significant "boost" for mining output. On average, each year, the Company achieves an output of over 35 million m³ of soil and rock and about 1.8 million tons of raw coal. In parallel, the coal washing system has been upgraded, helping to improve product quality; the engine air filter dust removal system has been deployed, contributing to improving the working environment, protecting workers' health and significantly increasing labor productivity.

Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Liem, Director of the Mineral Exploitation Company, emphasized: "The unit has mechanized the entire production line, promoted coal processing and screening, and implemented synchronous cost reduction solutions. By the end of the first quarter of 2025, the unit completed over 30% of the coal production plan and 25% of the earth and rock excavation plan, with equipment productivity reaching 108-115%. These are practical results, creating a competitive atmosphere to achieve achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Overcoming the significant challenges of complex geological conditions and degraded equipment, Company 91 also demonstrated a strong determination to innovate technology. The staff and workers have unanimously applied many effective technical initiatives. Typical examples include the processing and repair of the ZRY soft support frame, the innovation of the tunneling line, the construction of a continuous conveyor system, the installation of a tilting optical station and a remote control system for the 35kV Recloser cutter. These solutions not only optimize operations and save costs, but also improve production capacity and ensure labor safety.

Colonel Nguyen Manh Thang, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of Company 91, affirmed: The unit is determined to pursue the goal of scientific production, flexible operation, good management of basic techniques and application of appropriate technology for each production area. Technical safety control and effective maintenance of equipment are also strictly implemented. The application of science and technology and technical innovation play a key role in realizing the production and business goals in 2025 and the period 2025-2030, aiming for impressive targets such as digging processing tunnels to produce over 115,000m3, raw production of over 5 million tons and coal delivery of over 4.5 million tons.

Promoting the spirit of "Breakthrough - Development - Safety - Efficiency", member units of Dong Bac Corporation are determined to complete the target of producing 6.5 million tons of coal by 2025; importing and purchasing 5.2 million tons of commercial coal; consuming 11.5 million tons of coal; achieving revenue of 29,000 billion VND; striving to achieve profit of 850 billion VND; paying the budget 3,450 billion VND. At the same time, increasing the average income of workers to 21.65 million VND/person/month. With science and technology as the "launching pad", Dong Bac Corporation is steadily advancing on all production and business fronts, affirming the position and brand "Dong Bac" in the new development stage.
