NDO - As dawn breaks, Ba Dong beach in Duyen Hai, Tra Vinh, awakens like a vibrant painting, blending majestic nature with the simple rhythm of human life.

Ba Dong Beach is a famous scenic spot and tourist area located in Truong Long Hoa commune (Duyen Hai town, Tra Vinh province), about 50km southeast of Tra Vinh city center and 10km east of Duyen Hai town. This area is situated between the two estuaries of Cung Hau (part of the Tien River) and Dinh An (part of the Hau River), facing directly out to the vast East Sea. This unique location has created a rich and diverse marine ecosystem and stunning scenery rarely found elsewhere.

Along the more than 10km long beach, gentle waves lap against the fine sand like the steady rhythm of the ocean's breath.

The sea surface sparkled with pink and orange rays of light, reflecting the vibrant colors of the sky, creating a magical scene that anyone who witnessed it would find hard to forget.

The most striking feature of the Ba Dong sea area today is the rows of wind turbines proudly rising from the open sea.

Their simple, unpretentious lives are intimately connected to the sea, to every wave, every breeze, and even every ray of the morning sun.

The people of Ba Dong mainly make their living from aquaculture and fishing.

The boats setting sail from early morning create a picturesque scene.

When the boats return, laden with fresh produce, it brings joy, a continuation of tradition, and a source of livelihood for the fishermen's families.

Besides offshore fishing, fishermen along the coast of Ba Dong also earn income from trawling.

The nets are white, have lead weights at the bottom, floats, and are about 70-100m long.

A coastal fishing trip, lasting only about 15 to 20 minutes, may not yield as much fish as larger catches from offshore fishing trips, but for many fishermen who cannot afford larger boats, it remains a valuable source of income, contributing to a sustainable livelihood along the coast.

Many tourists enjoy the moment of sunrise over the southwestern coast of Vietnam.
