• Firmly adhering to the Party's military and national defense policies.
  • Strengthening the ranks of grassroots military officers.
  • Continue to reorganize local military forces in the direction of being "lean, efficient, and strong."

In recent years, the global and regional situation has become increasingly complex, with modern warfare tending towards high-tech, asymmetrical combat. This demands that armed forces not only be strong in number but also highly skilled, flexible in organization, and modern in their operational methods.

In Ca Mau province, a strategically important area for national defense and security, the Provincial Military Command has proactively implemented many comprehensive solutions, focusing on a complete transformation, from organizational structure and training methods to management and command.

New recruits enthusiastically set off to fulfill their duties, contributing to building a strong armed force capable of meeting the demands of the new situation.

Colonel Nguyen Khanh Duong, Deputy Commander of the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command, emphasized: "The unit has determined that transformation is not only an essential requirement but also an urgent task. This involves transforming leadership and command thinking; streamlining organizational models; and modernizing training and combat readiness methods to be more practical."

Accordingly, the Provincial Military Command has reviewed and streamlined its organizational structure and personnel by reducing intermediate levels and strengthening forces directly involved in combat and combat support. Units have been reorganized to be more flexible, mobile, and suitable to the characteristics of the local area.

One of the key aspects of the transformation process is building a streamlined and efficient military force. The Provincial Military Command has reorganized its units, reducing overlapping functions and responsibilities while simultaneously improving the quality of its officers.

Colonel Nguyen Khanh Duong stated: "Streamlining doesn't simply mean cutting back, but rather reorganizing in a scientific and rational way. Each position and each individual must maximize their abilities and strengths, ensuring the system operates effectively and efficiently."
