According to the report presented at the meeting, after reviewing the standards for administrative units of wards and communes, Song Doc fully meets the conditions regarding population size, natural area, urban population ratio, economic structure, non-agricultural labor ratio, average per capita income, and poverty rate as stipulated.

Song Doc Ward will be established based on retaining its entire natural area of ​​83.95 km², with a population of approximately 47,300 people and 22 subordinate residential units.

To ensure democracy and transparency, the People's Committee of the commune organized a public consultation in 22 hamlets from May 18-19. The results showed that 99.99% of households in the area agreed, demonstrating a very high level of public support for the establishment of Song Doc ward.

Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Song Doc commune, Ma Minh Tam, emphasized that the establishment of Song Doc ward will open a new chapter in the urban development process of the locality.
