Instilling a sense of historical and cultural pride in the younger generation.

To commemorate the 76th anniversary of International Children's Day (June 1, 1950 - June 1, 2026) and in response to the 2026 Month of Action for Children, on the afternoon of June 1st, the Provincial Museum, in coordination with the Ca Mau Provincial Vovinam Federation, organized a visit for 80 children who are members of the Federation to explore typical historical and cultural sites of the province in Bac Lieu ward.

At the Provincial Party History Museum, the students were introduced to the portraits of the former Secretaries of the Bac Lieu and Ca Mau Provincial Party Committees through various terms; the process of establishment and the leadership role of the Provincial Party Committee in the struggle for independence, construction and development of their homeland, Ca Mau.

The tour guide introduced the history of the establishment and leadership of the Provincial Party Committee in the struggle, construction, and development of Ca Mau.

In addition, the students were provided with information and had the opportunity to ask questions about the process of provincial merger, as well as the potential and strengths of this southernmost region of the country.

Martial arts students enthusiastically performed their skills during a tour to explore the province's prominent historical and cultural sites.

At the Provincial Rice Museum, through agricultural tools, documentary images, and hands-on activities such as planting rice seeds and making traditional cakes from rice grains, a joyful and lively atmosphere was created, helping children better understand the development of rice cultivation in the Ca Mau region.

Through this, the students further admire the willpower, perseverance, and aspirations of their ancestors in conquering nature; and at the same time, they are grateful to the farmers who have toiled for generations to produce rice to serve their lives.

The rice planting activity provided the children with many interesting hands-on experiences about traditional farming.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Hoang Nam, Chairman of the Vovinam Federation of Ca Mau province, the journey of exploring museums is an opportunity for students to vividly access the historical and cultural values of the locality, thereby supplementing them with much useful knowledge for their studies.

Beyond being a fun and experiential activity, the tour also contributes to fostering patriotism and revolutionary spirit in the younger generation; educating them about pride and responsibility in preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of Ca Mau province.

The children enthusiastically participated in making traditional rice cakes at the Rice Museum's experiential space.
