Every political gathering, ceremony to report achievements, Party membership induction, commemoration of major holidays, or activity to honor the historical roots is solemnly held beside the monument, contributing to the cultivation of political fortitude and loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the People among officers and soldiers on the front lines of the sea and islands.
The Hon Khoai Border Guard Station organized an activity to commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth at the "Uncle Ho with Border Guards" monument.
Colonel Nguyen Quang Ha, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ca Mau Border Guard, shared that the construction of the "Uncle Ho with Border Guards" monument reflects the cultural beauty in the spiritual life of the Ca Mau Border Guard. Despite many difficulties, the units are dedicated to building a spacious, green, clean, and beautiful monument area, creating a meaningful space for political activities. The area surrounding the monument is harmoniously arranged with trees, lighting systems, and environmental landscaping, creating a unique cultural highlight for the unit's base.
"The monuments 'Uncle Ho with Border Guards' carry profound educational significance, serving as a place for units to report their outstanding achievements in fulfilling their duties to Uncle Ho, while simultaneously inspiring pride and determination to firmly protect national sovereignty and border security. In addition, these monuments contribute to spreading love for the homeland and country among the people in the coastal border areas of the province," Colonel Nguyen Quang Ha emphasized.
Recently, many schools and local organizations have regularly organized visits for students and youth union members to the monument area to learn about its traditions. This helps the younger generation better understand President Ho Chi Minh's contributions and the silent sacrifices of the soldiers in the green uniform in the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.
