In accordance with Circular No. 50/2025 of the Minister of Industry and Trade stipulating the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of biofuels with traditional fuels, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development requests petroleum trading companies, petroleum production companies, and petroleum distribution companies to address several issues related to E10 biofuel.
Specifically, primary traders, primary producers, and distributors must strictly adhere to the roadmap, which stipulates that from June 1st, unleaded gasoline (according to current national technical standards) must be blended into E10 gasoline for use in gasoline engines nationwide.
In addition, the blending and production of E5 RON92 gasoline for use in gasoline engines will continue until December 31, 2030.
Specifically, the Department directed petroleum producers to ensure a sufficient supply of gasoline, accelerate the blending and mixing of bioethanol (E5, E10), and promptly supply the full quantity of bioethanol (E5, E10) that had been negotiated and signed with petroleum trading companies according to schedule.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade requires all primary and secondary traders to absolutely ensure there is no disruption to the supply of E5 and E10 gasoline.

Petroleum wholesalers and distributors proactively blend, mix, and purchase bioethanol (E5, E10) from businesses with bioethanol blending facilities/wholesalers to ensure a sufficient supply of bioethanol (E5, E10) for their distribution systems.
Traders should proactively direct or coordinate with their affiliated distribution systems, franchisees, and retail gasoline dealers to prepare the necessary facilities for distributing bioethanol (ES, E10) starting from June 1st.
In addition to preparing the supply, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development also requires key petroleum producers, traders, and distributors to closely monitor the consumption of biofuels in the market. During implementation, any difficulties or obstacles must be promptly reported to the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development for consideration and resolution.
"Absolutely no disruption to the supply of bioethanol (E5, E10) is allowed under any circumstances," the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development emphasized.
