At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy Hoang Ninh said that the Ministry of Industry and Trade is providing 267 online public services on the Ministry's Online Public Service Portal, including 168 full online public services and 99 partial online public services with more than 54,000 enterprises participating in declaration.
The total number of dossiers submitted through the Ministry's online public services by the end of 2024 was more than 2 million dossiers and in the first 6 months of 2025 was nearly 1,233,000 dossiers, equivalent to more than 99% of the total number of dossiers sent to the Ministry. In 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Public Service Portal exchanged nearly 1.9 million electronic dossiers with the National Public Service Portal and in the first 6 months of the year was more than 1 million dossiers.
Deploying the National Single Window and ASEAN Single Window: The Ministry of Industry and Trade has connected 16 online public service groups to the National Single Window with a total of more than 691,000 records processed on the National Single Window in 2024 and more than 310,000 records in the first 6 months of the year.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has completed the connection with the national population database, thereby allowing file processing officers to look up information related to electronic identification without requiring citizens and businesses to provide attached documents. Thereby reducing the number of documents required in the process of handling administrative procedures.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also completed the construction of the Electronic Data Management Warehouse of organizations and individuals on the Ministry's Administrative Procedures Information System, connecting with the Electronic Data Management Warehouse of organizations and individuals on the National Public Service Portal and connecting with the National Population Database to allow people and businesses to log in via the VNeID application.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Data Center. The Minister acknowledged that the Data Center has made breakthroughs in building a solid digital infrastructure platform, integrating centralized data as well as connecting to the National Portal, contributing to the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the digital transformation process.
To continue to improve operational efficiency, the Minister requested the Center to complete the construction and operation in stages. Data must always be replenished not only in quantity but also to ensure that data is updated in real time. In particular, the Minister emphasized the need to comply with the data criteria of "green, clean, sufficient, correct, alive" to ensure the quality and transparency of information.
The close inspection and direction of Minister Nguyen Hong Dien demonstrates the deep concern of the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the national digital transformation, towards building a strong and transparent digital economy.
Previously, in 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade was ranked first among ministries and branches according to the Ministry's ranking of the Index of serving people and businesses in performing administrative procedures and providing public services (according to the announcement of the Government Office on the National Public Service Portal).
