Minister Nguyen Hong Dien and the delegation inspected the Data Center of the Ministry of Industry and Trade .

At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy Hoang Ninh stated that the Ministry of Industry and Trade is currently providing 267 online public services on the Ministry's Online Public Service Portal, including 168 fully online public services and 99 partially online public services, with more than 54,000 businesses participating in the declaration process.

The total number of applications submitted through the Ministry's online public services by the end of 2024 was over 2 million, and in the first six months of 2025, it was nearly 1,233,000, corresponding to over 99% of the total number of applications sent to the Ministry. In 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Public Service Portal exchanged nearly 1.9 million electronic applications with the National Public Service Portal, and in the first six months of 2025, this figure exceeded 1 million.

Implementing the National Single Window and the ASEAN Single Window: The Ministry of Industry and Trade has connected 16 groups of online public services with the National Single Window, with a total of over 691,000 applications processed through the National Single Window in 2024 and over 310,000 applications in the first six months of the year.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has now completed the connection with the national population database, allowing officials processing applications to retrieve information related to electronic identification without requiring citizens or businesses to provide supporting documents. This reduces the number of required documents in the administrative procedure.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also completed the construction of an electronic data management repository for organizations and individuals on the Ministry's administrative procedure resolution information system, connecting with the electronic data management repository for organizations and individuals on the National Public Service Portal and connecting with the National Population Database, allowing citizens and businesses to log in through the VNeID application.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Data Center. The Minister acknowledged that the Data Center has made breakthroughs in building a solid digital infrastructure platform, integrating centralized data, and connecting with the National Portal, contributing to the Ministry of Industry and Trade's efforts in the digital transformation process.

To further enhance operational efficiency, the Minister requested that the Center complete its construction and operation in stages. Data needs to be continuously enriched, not only in quantity but also in real-time. In particular, the Minister emphasized the necessity of adhering to the criteria of "green, clean, sufficient, accurate, and active" data to ensure the quality and transparency of information.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien's close supervision and guidance demonstrate the deep concern of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's leadership for the national digital transformation, aiming to build a strong and transparent digital economy.

Previously, in 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade was ranked first among ministries and agencies according to the Ministry's Index for serving citizens and businesses in carrying out administrative procedures and providing public services (as announced by the Government Office on the National Public Service Portal).
