On the morning of November 23, nearly 50 officers and soldiers of Border Guard Squadron 2 and Quy Nhon Port Border Guard Station coordinated with other forces to transport 120 tons of rice from the State Reserve Department and 500 gifts from the Provincial People's Committee to support people in Quy Nhon ward.
In particular, Border Guard Squadron 2 mobilized ship BP 32.06.02 to directly transport rice and necessities to Hai Minh fishing village (Ward 9, Quy Nhon Ward) to deliver directly to people affected by floods in the area.

Also here, Border Guard officers and soldiers continued to carry out activities to help people clean up mud along landslide-affected roads and carry belongings, arrange and clean houses for affected families.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tung Giang - Political Commissar of Quy Nhon Port Border Guard Station - said: "We try our best to go to each house to help people. After Quy Nhon ward, the work of supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters will be deployed in neighboring areas.
In places where the flood has completely receded, we mobilized forces to help people clean up the environment, repair houses and other urgent needs to help people stabilize their lives after the flood."

Also on the morning of November 23, Nhon Ly Border Guard Station transported 300 gifts donated by benefactors in Hoai Nhon area (total value of 30 million VND) to give to people in Con Chim area (Vinh Quang 2 village, Tuy Phuoc Dong commune).
On the same day, 20 officers and soldiers of Cat Khanh Border Guard Station used 15 trucks to transport more than 1,000 gifts and 60 tons of rice from the State Reserve Department to distribute to people in Chanh Huu, Chanh Dinh, Chanh Hoi, and Van Triem villages (Ngo May commune). At the same time, officers and soldiers were arranged to participate in clearing mud and soil, arranging tables, chairs, and teaching equipment at Cat Chanh Primary School and Cat Chanh Secondary School (Ngo May commune).

Major Nguyen Huu Tu Thang, Deputy Political Commissar of Cat Khanh Border Guard Station, shared: “In recent days, we have focused all our efforts on evacuation and relief, trying to ensure that no one is in danger of death or suffering from hunger or thirst. The floods have caused a lot of damage, many belongings have been damaged, and houses are in disarray. We have encouraged and helped as much as we can to help people overcome this difficulty.”

According to Colonel Tran Tien Hai - Commander of the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command, the unit has mobilized forces and vehicles, prioritizing the focus on key areas. Currently, nearly 300 officers and soldiers along with specialized vehicles have been deployed to participate in rescue; transporting food to help isolated and flooded areas, especially localities such as Quy Nhon Dong, Tuy Phuoc Dong and neighboring areas.
“Wherever people need it, the army is present, closely following the area, coordinating with local authorities to deploy urgent measures, not letting people go hungry or cold, and minimizing damage caused by floods.
After 5 days of operation, we have evacuated hundreds of people from dangerous areas to safe places, transported thousands of relief packages, and especially helped people clean up and transport belongings after the flood" - Colonel Tran Tien Hai added.
