Specifically, Border Guard Squadron 2 deployed the vessel BP 32.06.02 to directly transport rice and essential supplies to Hai Minh fishing village (Ward 9, Quy Nhon commune) to deliver them directly to residents affected by floods in the area.

Here, border guards continued to carry out activities to help people clear mud and debris along landslide-affected roads, and to carry belongings, arrange and clean houses for families affected by the damage.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tung Giang, Political Officer of the Quy Nhon Port Border Guard Station, said: "We are trying our best to reach every household to help the people. After Quy Nhon ward, the work of supporting people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters will be implemented in neighboring areas."
In areas where the floodwaters have completely receded, we are mobilizing forces to help people clean up the environment, repair houses, and meet other essential needs to help them stabilize their lives after the flood.”

Also on the morning of November 23rd, the Nhon Ly Border Guard Station transported 300 gift packages donated by philanthropists in the Hoai Nhon area (total value of 30 million VND) to be given to the people in the Con Chim area (belonging to Vinh Quang 2 hamlet, Tuy Phuoc Dong commune).

Major Nguyen Huu Tu Thang, Deputy Political Officer of Cat Khanh Border Guard Station, shared: “For the past few days, we have focused all our efforts on evacuation and relief, trying to ensure that no one's life is in danger or that they suffer from hunger or thirst. The floods have caused a lot of damage; many belongings and houses are in disarray. We are both encouraging and helping people to overcome these difficulties to the best of our ability.”

According to Colonel Tran Tien Hai, Commander of the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command, the unit has mobilized forces and resources, prioritizing key areas. Currently, nearly 300 officers and soldiers, along with specialized vehicles, have been deployed to participate in rescue efforts and transport food to areas cut off and flooded, especially in localities such as Quy Nhon Dong, Tuy Phuoc Dong, and surrounding areas.
"Wherever the people need us, the army is there, staying close to the area, coordinating with local authorities to implement urgent measures, ensuring that people do not go hungry or cold, and minimizing damage caused by floods and heavy rains."
"Over the past five days of deployment, we have evacuated hundreds of people from dangerous areas to safe places, transported thousands of relief packages, and most importantly, helped people clean up and move their belongings after the flood," Colonel Tran Tien Hai added.
