The Ministry of Education and Training approves the local education materials for 11th grade in Ho Chi Minh City.

Compared to the approved Grade 10 local education materials of Ho Chi Minh City from last year, this year's Grade 11 materials are basically the same in some aspects, such as presentation style, illustrations, book layout, lesson design, etc.

This document, compiled by a team of authors including General Editor Nguyen Bao Quoc, Editor-in-Chief Le Duy Tan, and eight other authors, is nearly 100 pages long and comprises eight topics, built upon fundamental issues concerning the culture, history, geography, economy , society, environment, and career guidance of Ho Chi Minh City. These topics are more continuous, expansive, and relevant to social life compared to those in the Grade 10 textbook.

Accordingly, the document includes the following topics: Modern Literature of Ho Chi Minh City (Topic 1); Historical Figures of Ho Chi Minh City (Topic 2); Customs, Customary Laws and Legal Education in Ho Chi Minh City (Topic 3); Landscapes of Ho Chi Minh City (Topic 4); Commerce of Ho Chi Minh City (Topic 5); Attracting Investment for Economic Development in Ho Chi Minh City (Topic 6); Impact of Economic Activities on the Natural Environment in Ho Chi Minh City (Topic 7); Topic 8 is STEM Education and Career Guidance in Ho Chi Minh City.

Each topic is also designed with four activities: warm-up, exploration , practice, and application, in line with the innovative approach to teaching and learning.

Thus, this is the second consecutive year that the teaching of local education in high schools in Ho Chi Minh City has had to be temporarily suspended in the first semester and rescheduled for the second semester due to the late issuance of teaching materials. This requires schools to be flexible in developing teaching plans to ensure the completion of the subject curriculum. Teachers also have to urgently invest time in preparing lesson plans to keep up with the school year schedule.
