At the Seminar, the officials asked the Minister questions on 4 groups of issues related to the fields that the Ministry is managing: Orientation for the development of the IT&T industry in 2024; Necessary skills of leaders and managers in the digital transformation period; AI and virtual assistants; Digital transformation culture.

Digital transformation is easy to do, think simple.
Regarding digital transformation and green transformation, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung suggested, think of digital transformation simply, don't think it's complicated and difficult to do. If you want digital transformation, you have to be green, and if you're green, you have to be digital. Green transformation is to live in more harmony with mother nature and The most important thing for humanity is to create awareness and communication about green transformation. If a country wants to transform digitally and transform greenly, it needs to communicate to its people what green transformation is. Green transformation is going out of the room, turning off the lights, using less water, and these actions must become behaviors and habits. Green transformation is using digital technology and smart data to compensate. The Ministry of Information and Communications is the state management agency of the press and needs to communicate more strongly to the people about this issue.
To do both content and technology and ensure digital transformation, the Minister affirmed that content now needs technology and technology needs content. Each person is a different individual and the difference can contribute to the sustainability of the organization. Therefore, the head of a unit must understand and know how to "tolerate" people.
Emphasizing the state management of Leaders, the Minister said that as specialists and departmental leaders, they must handle their regular work well, spending at least 95% of their time on this. Unit and departmental leaders need to create new, meaningful work and support their staff, that is, when they come up with new work, it must be easy for staff to do.

The Minister said that on the first working day of the new year, the Party Committee gave some words to guide the Ministry's activities in 2024: "Broader, more comprehensive, faster, better quality and more practical".
