Joining the delegation were Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Deputy Head of Political Affairs of the Military Region; and Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command.
Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long, Bishop of Vinh Diocese, received and worked with the delegation, along with other bishops and priests of the Vinh Diocese.

In a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere celebrating Christmas, the delegation from the 4th Military Region Command and the Nghe An Provincial Military Command extended their best wishes to the Bishop, clergy, and all Catholic parishioners of the Vinh Diocese, wishing them good health, happiness, and a peaceful Christmas season. The 4th Military Region Command acknowledged the contributions of the bishops, priests, and pastoral councils in implementing patriotic emulation movements, developing socio-economic conditions, and building advanced parishes and congregations.

The Command of Military Region 4 also hopes that the Vinh Diocese will continue to encourage its parishioners to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; to uphold the tradition of patriotism, live "a good life and a beautiful faith," and actively participate in social and charitable activities, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long expressed gratitude for the attention of the 4th Military Region Command and the Nghe An Provincial Military Command; extended congratulations to the officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army on the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day; and affirmed that the Vinh Diocese will continue to stand alongside the Party committees, government, and people, contributing to building a peaceful and prosperous social life.
