The Ministry of Health appoints a new Director.

Prior to his appointment as Director, Mr. Nguyen Ngo Quang worked for many years at the Department of Science, Technology and Training, having previously served as Deputy Director and Deputy Director in charge of the department.

Mr. Nguyen Ngo Quang, along with other experienced experts, has made significant contributions to the development of documents and policy proposals regarding training, innovation in healthcare , and especially in clinical trial research in Vietnam.

Currently, the clinical trial system in healthcare units, with centers and research teams participating in multinational clinical studies, along with applied research by domestic scientists, plays a crucial role in providing opportunities for patients and the public in the country to access new drugs, treatments, and vaccines.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Ministry's leadership, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan congratulated Dr. Nguyen Ngo Quang on his appointment as Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Training.

The Minister requested that, in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Ngo Quang fully utilize his abilities, qualifications, and experience, along with a spirit of unity, to work together with the staff of the Department of Science, Technology and Training to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Health, for the common development of the health sector.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Ngo Quang affirmed that he would continue to strive, constantly learn and improve his skills, and lead the department's team to fulfill assigned tasks, contributing to the care and improvement of the quality of healthcare for the people.
