Vietnam women's volleyball team defeats top Japanese team

Striker Pham Thi Nguyet Anh replaced Tran Tu Linh, middle blocker Ly Thi Luyen replaced Tra Giang and libero Nguyen Khanh Dang replaced Le Thi Thanh Lien. There was a time in the middle of the first set, when coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's students let their opponents equalize and then take the lead, but Ly Thi Luyen and Thanh Thuy scored important points to help the Vietnamese women's volleyball team overcome and win an impressive 25/20.

With a 3-1 victory over 2022 volleyball champion Japan, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team ranked first in Group A and entered the semi-finals.
