On the afternoon of July 2, the Organizing Committee (OC) of the U13 Yamaha Cup 2025 football tournament held a press conference and drew lots to divide the groups and arrange the match schedule for 16 excellent representatives to win tickets to the final round (Finals) at Go Dau Stadium (Thu Dau Mot Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Previously, the qualifying round was held in Hai Phong, Dak Lak and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, determining 16 teams to enter the final round including: Phu Tho, Hanoi , PVF, Nam Dinh, Haduwaco Hai Duong, SLNA, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Hue, SHB Da Nang , Quang Nam, LP Bank HAGL, HCMC, Navy Phu Nhuan (HCMC), Binh Duong, Becamex Binh Duong and VES Ba Ria - Vung Tau .

The final round will take place at Go Dau Stadium from July 3 to 13. According to the draw results, Group A includes the teams: Binh Duong, Becamex Binh Duong, PVF and SLNA. Meanwhile, Group B includes the teams: VES Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Haduwaco Hai Duong, Hue, Da Nang.

Group C includes the following teams: Navy Phu Nhuan (HCMC), Nam Dinh, Quang Nam, Hong Linh Ha Tinh. Group D includes HCMC, Hanoi, LP Bank HAGL and Phu Tho.

The representative of the Organizing Committee shared that this tournament was held at the time of the merger between 3 localities including Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City, and was the first sports tournament to take place in Thu Dau Mot ward. The national U13 tournament is part of the national competition system, organized annually by the Thieu nien Tien phong and Nhi dong newspapers and the VFF for the past 28 years.

From this playground, many young football talents have been discovered, who are currently players of the Vietnam National Team such as: Do Duy Manh, Doan Van Hau, Nguyen Quang Hai, Van Toan, Van Thanh, Duc Huy, Luong Xuan Truong, Nham Manh Dung...

The opening match of this year's tournament will be at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow (July 3) between Binh Duong and Becamex Binh Duong at Go Dau Stadium.
