Attending the workshop were Mr. Mai Tuan Dat - Deputy General Director of BSR ; Mr. Ho Hoang Nguyen Vu - Deputy General Director of Petrosetco; representatives of Noventiq Vietnam Company, leaders of professional departments and hundreds of young union members and employees of BSR and Petrosetco.
In his opening speech, Mr. Mai Tuan Dat emphasized BSR's strategic vision of " no accidents, no incidents , no waste ". At the same time, BSR aims to become a petrochemical refinery enterprise with leading competitiveness in the region and the world . The workshop is an opportunity for both sides to find solutions and advanced technological tools to improve operational efficiency, ensure safety and respond quickly to incidents.
Petrosetco representative, Mr. Ho Hoang Nguyen Vu expressed his hope: “Through the workshop, young engineers and youth union members of the two units will have more opportunities to connect, share, update new technologies and accompany BSR on the journey of sustainable development. I wish BSR to successfully complete its production and business goals in 2025”.
The workshop is a forum for in-depth exchange between technology experts and petrochemical engineering teams, contributing to promoting the digital transformation process, improving the efficiency of production and business activities at BSR in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Du - Secretary of BSR Youth Union said: "The workshop is a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 7th BSR Party Congress, while opening up opportunities for learning and extensive connection for youth union members to approach digital transformation trends, expand professional knowledge, and connect with experts and technology partners."
At the workshop, Mr. Dao Cong Hoang - Apple's training expert - shared outstanding practical applications of the Apple ecosystem in the digital transformation process at global corporations such as ExxonMobil (USA), Shell Global (Netherlands), United Airlines (USA), or Vestas (Denmark). Although operating in different fields, the outstanding common point of these businesses is the integration of Apple devices into the control system, process monitoring, replacing traditional paperwork, excellent synchronization ability, optimizing work performance and improving operational accuracy.
According to Mr. Dao Cong Hoang, the use of Apple devices has demonstrated many outstanding advantages such as high durability, flexible connectivity, tight security ecosystem, effective management of operations and compliance with low carbon emission commitments of modern businesses. The iOS operating system and integrated tools such as the office software suite (Apple Office Suite) also help standardize and simplify workflows.
At BSR, Apple device application solutions are oriented to be deployed in many areas, from factory operation and maintenance, engineering and safety, to training and office work. The speaker also introduced the synchronization and connectivity features between Apple devices, allowing personnel to manage, look up data, and report work quickly and effectively, even in special working conditions such as at Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
The workshop is not only an opportunity to update new technology trends but also opens up potential for extensive cooperation between BSR and technology partners, contributing to realizing the comprehensive digital transformation strategy in the petrochemical industry.
