Over 200 documents, images, and artifacts displayed at the exhibition introduced the life and revolutionary career of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, contributing to the education of revolutionary traditions, arousing patriotism and national pride so that every Vietnamese citizen today continues to strive for a prosperous and strong country.
In his opening remarks at the exhibition, Chief of the Central Party Office Le Hoai Trung emphasized that the Party has affirmed that Comrade Nguyen Van Linh was one of President Ho Chi Minh's outstanding disciples, a very steadfast, loyal, and dedicated communist party member who fought throughout his life for the ideals of national independence and socialism, for the happiness of the people, a highly respected leader of the Party, the people, and the army, and a trusted friend of the international community.

The exhibition further clarifies the arduous journey that Vietnam and its revolution went through in the 20th century, as well as the historical significance of the great victories achieved by our people under the leadership of the Party, with the leading role played by leaders such as Comrade Nguyen Van Linh.
Chief of the Central Party Office Le Hoai Trung stated that by thoroughly understanding and promoting the valuable lessons left by previous generations of revolutionary leaders, including Comrade Nguyen Van Linh, we will have more important foundations to confidently move into a new era for the nation, an era of strength and prosperity.
The exhibition is structured into five main sections. Section one: “Homeland, Family, Childhood (1915-1930),” introduces the childhood, homeland, family, and revolutionary enlightenment journey of Comrade Nguyen Van Cuc (also known as Nguyen Van Linh).
The portrayal depicts a comrade who came from a family with a tradition of patriotism, who was studious from a young age, developed an early love for the people, the village, and his homeland, understood the suffering of a country in misery and slavery under colonial rule, and quickly recognized the fate of the nation, thus seeking revolution.
In 1929, at the age of 14, he joined the Student Union led by the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association. With youthful enthusiasm and guided by the ideology of Nguyen Ai Quoc, he actively and enthusiastically participated in activities, unafraid of sacrifice and hardship.
On May 1, 1930, he participated in distributing anti-imperialist leaflets, was arrested by the enemy at the age of 15, sentenced to life imprisonment, and exiled to Con Dao Island.
Part two: "Growing Up in the Revolutionary Struggle (1931-1945)", introduces the period when Comrade Nguyen Van Linh was captured, imprisoned, and tortured by the enemy in the "hell on earth" - Con Dao prison (1931-1936 and 1941-1945).
Between 1936 and early 1941, he was admitted to the Indochinese Communist Party and participated in activities among workers in Hai Phong and Hanoi. He built party bases, established many branches, and formed the Provisional Hai Phong City Party Committee.

In 1939, the Central Committee of the Party assigned him to work in Saigon, joining the City Party Committee Executive Board headed by Comrade Minh Khai as Secretary.
By early 1940, he was assigned by the Central Committee, along with several other comrades, to go to Central Vietnam to re-establish contact with Party bases in the provinces and rebuild the Central Vietnam Regional Party Committee. In early 1941, he was captured by the enemy in Vinh, taken to Saigon, sentenced to 5 years in prison, and exiled to Con Dao Island for the second time.
In 1945, after the success of the August Revolution, Comrade Nguyen Van Linh was released from Con Dao prison and began a new revolutionary struggle alongside the nation.
Part three: "Standing Shoulder to Shoulder with the People of the South (1946-1975)", introduces the extremely rich and vibrant activities, closely following the ups and downs of the revolutionary movement and understanding the thoughts and aspirations of the people of the South.
After being brought back to Southern Vietnam to work in the Mekong Delta, Comrade Nguyen Van Linh directly led the resistance in Saigon-Chợ Lớn, holding positions as Secretary of the City Party Committee and Secretary of the Saigon-Gia Dinh Special Zone Party Committee. He was elected and served on the Standing Committee of the Southern Regional Party Committee.
From 1957 to 1960, he served as Acting Secretary of the Southern Regional Party Committee. In 1960, at the Third National Party Congress, he was elected to the Central Committee of the Party, and was appointed by the Central Committee as Secretary of the Central Bureau and later as Deputy Secretary of the Central Bureau of the Southern Region.
Under the leadership of the Central Party Committee and President Ho Chi Minh, and in his capacity as Secretary of the Central Bureau, he presided over and, together with other comrades, led the revolutionary movement in the South during its most critical and glorious period.
The exhibition reflects the indelible impressions of the uprising and the resistance war against invasion; the image of Anh Mười Cúc in his traditional Vietnamese clothing, with his gentle face, quick gait, and warm, simple yet heartfelt voice, remains deeply etched in the memories of his compatriots and comrades in the South.
The great victory of the resistance war against the US, saving the country, liberating the South, and unifying the Fatherland belongs to the entire Party and the entire people, in which Comrade Nguyen Van Linh contributed a part.
Part four: “Concerns and the search for new directions (1976-1986)” introduces Comrade Nguyen Van Linh's journey and his roles and responsibilities within the Central Committee of the Party, the Politburo, and the Central Secretariat, including his positions as Head of the Central Committee's Socialist Transformation Committee, Head of the Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
In every position he held, he devoted all his energy to the Party and the people, placing the common interests of the revolution above personal interests. He was always concerned about and listened to the opinions of the people, seeking out and researching new, creative, and positive factors from practice to synthesize and build exemplary models, forming new mechanisms and management styles, contributing to clarifying the Party's viewpoints and policies.

Part five: “Leading the National Renovation Process (1986-1996)”, introduces the Sixth National Congress of the Party (December 1986). At the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Van Linh was elected to the Central Committee of the Party and was elected by the Central Committee as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The documents and images showcase the important and effective contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh to the formulation of the Party and State's reform policies, steering the revolutionary ship through domestic difficulties and major global changes; persistently implementing principled reforms, respecting and promoting the people's right to self-governance.
With articles in the "Things to Do Immediately" column published in the Nhan Dan Newspaper, initiated and directly written by the comrade, a new dynamism has been created in society, highlighting the example of matching words with actions, focusing on solving pressing social issues, fighting corruption, and purifying the apparatus of Party and State agencies.
